The number one fear that you most likely have as a pregnant mother is the pain of childbirth. The contractions, the bleeding, the tearing, the stitches, the back labor … everything! Your whole entire life you’ve been taught that it’s going to be the worst experience ever.

“You’ll be begging for the epidural,” they said. “Why would you want to go through all of the pain?” they inquire. “Why are you setting yourself up for failure?” they accuse.

*Sigh* …

Take a deep breath. It’s not your fault that this is naturally ingrained into your subconscious mind. The media, our mothers’ experiences, and the culture of western medicine has helped you believe that giving birth is the most painful thing on earth. Well … they’re right, when you BELIEVE that.

What You Already Have That Helps Your Birth Contractions Feel Good
You have a POWERFUL tool on your side when it comes to the experiences you’re going through as a mother. It’s your brain.

Your brain has the capacity and capability to make you feel the worst pains in the world when you believe there’s no hope, when you aren’t aware of other options, and when you choose to accept that fate. The good news is that there is another way. This IS another option.

Natural birthing mothers understanding how their awareness and perceptions about birth, their bodies, and the capabilities of their minds work in harmony with their bodies. You can have the same.

So forget about what you’ve heard, seen, or may even believe about how painful childbirth is. Now let’s focus on how you can make those contractions feel good! Yep, you read that right.

A lot of moms that I encounter don’t really know what they don’t know when it comes to preparing for birth. I’ll ask them what they want to know more about, but they’re never sure. It’s just, “I want to have a natural birth, but I don’t know how.”

It’s tough. After having three babies naturally myself and seeing this dilemma everywhere, I decided to take action. That’s why I created My Natural Baby Birth because I know that there are ways to prepare for a natural birth that every mother can learn.

It took me three tries to get it perfectly right (in my mind anyway). So I don’t want you to waste all that energy searching and learning when I’ve already figured out A LOT for you.




The first thing is to recognize the enemy of your natural birth. I go into more detail in this video.

It’s the easiest place to start because knowing what the potential roadblocks are to getting through your labor and delivery can be much easier than trying to maneuver on your own!

Make sure you know exactly what you’re up against, and what your true enemy is to your birth. It’s not your doctor or your hospital’s intervention rates, it’s something entirely different.

Have you ever been hiking and you come to a fork in the trail but there’s no directional sign to guide your way? This is a path you’ve never taken and not knowing which way to go is daunting. So you stop traveling.

Life is like this quite often. Everything you’re progressing toward is clear and constant. Then your path soon becomes confusing when there are unknown options ahead. So what do you do?

From our trail example, you’d probably pull out your map or iPhone and find your location, do a quick search and then you’re on your way. You trust those resources. You don’t doubt in the GPS or trail guide and fearlessly move on in your journey.

In life, it may not seem that easy. When confronted with a choice of which direction to take, we often don’t trust our resources we consult and don’t ask in faith. We’re skeptical and faithless depending on the situation. So we stand still and don’t progress. Why?
